iPhone 4 trouble

My flatmate has just taken delivery of his new iPhone 4. It has taken him over half an hour to work out how to put the sim card in and yes.... that is a tutorial on YouTube he is watching!!! Being an iPhone veteran I know how to put the sim card in. But tell him...? Where's the fun in that!?!?!
