Glenkiln

We were greeted by fine weather as we arrived at Glenkiln this morning, passing by a noisy, but, as yet, inactive fox hunt.

Here, in this remote part of Dumfriesshire, there are four works by Henry Moore, one by Rodin, and this, 'The Visitation', by Jacob Epstein. The park was established between 1951 and 1976 by local landowner Sir William Keswick.
