...A little bit of ...Toast!
Happy Valentines Day!!!!
Happy Birthday hebs!
Stopped off on the way to work to buy two cards, one for the Boss for Valentines Day and one for hebs for her birthday. Good job I didn't mix them up! The one for hebs was a cheeky one, aluding to fun bags and alcohol. The one for the Boss was pink and subtle and soppy. I think hebs liked her card and took it the right way, she laughed anyway, a proper dirty laugh. the Boss definitely liked hers and came over a bit soppy herself.
No card for me today, but after being together for 35 years and married for 30 it wasn't a surprise, she's never been big on Valentines cards.
On a seperate note we got back on the winning track in the quiz tonight, beating Ramsbottom (yes, there really is a place called that, known locally as Tups Arse) Cricket Club 48-42. The quiz was a bit more balanced this week but there were still some stinkers of questions.Phil dropped himself and put Anne, Lee Bob and Me in to bat, with me as captain. We led from the first question but it was tight all the way through. We've probably blown the League after our 3 match losing streak, but we'll probably get runners up, mind you as I always say....runners up, that's first losers! Never mind we'll just have to concentrate on the Cup.
A few of tonight's questions for you.
