It all started with an apple....

It was 4 years ago today that I met my husband.

About a week earlier, he was watching the morning weather girl (me) and co-anchor chatting on-air about diamonds for Valentine's day. I tossed off that I didn't need diamonds, all I wanted is a caramel apple...

Destiny would have it that he would meet a 80 year-old friend of the family and together they invited my mother and me to a "business" dinner....on Valentine's day....he brought Andrew and I a caramel apple (and my mom a rose plant...boy was he workin' it)... by June we were married.... and it all started it an apple....

Those are our wedding rings around the stick - doesn't look as good as I had imagined - and I am sure I looked a bit odd photographing an apple in the chocolate store :) Love is sweet!
