Edinburgh Airport

A lovely bright morning in Edinburgh today. A friend and I wandered the banks of the River Almond mapping the pools and also naming them so they are easier to identify for anglers. The Almond is a recovering river after many years of industrial pollution and now has a reliable run of salmon and sea-trout as well as the native brown trout population. This photo is of Edinburgh Airport which boundaries the banks of the river. We were quickly approached by security as we took photos - I guess its not 'normal' to see two chaps dressed in camoflague jackets wandering about in these parts!
