Lily

If I did not have El Idiot cat I would have lilies all over the house.

I adore them, they are my most favourite flower, but he eats them and since lilies are highly toxic , particularly to cats, they have to be banished to the porch behind closed doors where they stay safe from El Idiot cat and his hunger pangs.

These are doing very well though, a week past Saturday, from the reduced bin in the evil god Tesco.

Am really not sure why Reuben is so attracted to them, none of my other cats have been bothered by flowers at all. For preference his sister Faerie will eat a tulip or a gladioli, but will join him in attacking a vase of lilies with little encouragement.
