Nissen Hut, Dubston, Inverurie

I've been aware of Nissen Huts for as long as I can remember, having grown up on a street where the houses on one side suddenly stopped, giving way to an old WW2 army camp.

This one, at Dubston on the western edge of Inverurie, was quite a landmark when driving in to the town from Burnhervie via the Blackhall road.

Now, sadly, this winter's heavy snows seem to have brought about its demise.
