Proving a point ;-)

Dad said this shop had closed down. Mum said it hadn't. Well! This photo is proof it's still open ;-)

When I was a kid, this shop on Sheaf Street in Daventry was a chip shop called 'Captain Christo's' and my brother and I used to go in and ask for batter bits as they were free! When I was a bit older my friend and I would get the occasional cone of chips for the princely sum of 29p. I'm showing my age!
