Could you tell the difference?

Today I found out, that my Sandisk Extreme III 8 GB card is a fake.
I ordered it a few days ago from a German dealer through Ebay.

I wondered why the writing speed on that "extreme fast" card was so extreme slow in my Nikon D2H (it takes approx. double the time to write a burst on this card than on an genuine one). Then I compared the card in detail with my genuine ones.
