Depressing?

It's reputed to be 'the most depressing day of the year'. ( In Britain)
So, to cheer everyone up, here is a flower from my Christmas Cactus, which I blipped on January 3rd before the flowers came out.
Farsidehues was interested to know what they would look like when they were fully open!
