New Life

I know I've said it before, but I do love Spring!

This rosebush was all but a stumpy twig last Summer, when I asked the workmen who were building a decked area at the bottom of our garden, if they could dig it up so that I could replant it somewhere else. I think they had earmarked it for the skip, (considering it's appearance then) and thought I was mad.

So how pleased did I feel this morning when I noticed it's new shoots in the early morning sunshine!
