Boo Boo

Six hours of back to back meetings in the same room can be a challenge, no matter how stimulating the discussion. How can one alleviate the tedium and gain a little light relief? Boo Boo of course!. The hotel keep the little fella in the hall adjacent to our meeting room, with only a glazed door between. He has a fairly limited line in chat but his timing is impecable.

Boo Boo can be relied upon to deliver a perfect wolf whistle at entirely inappropriate moments or pipe up at full volume when someone else is trying to make a serious point. I'm never quite sure whether I find his interjections amusing or irritating...both in equal measure probably. My colleagues seem to lean towards the latter...bunch of miseries! ;-)

I think en balance he is an asset - he has a level of general cheeriness that's refreshing...and we had a nice little chat as I left the hotel this evening. Marvellous! :-)
