New Shoes

These are S's new shoes. I like to see new school shoes - all nice and shiny! I'll treasure the image because they won't stay that way for long!

He now takes the same size shoes as me and is a good bit taller than me. I keep checking to see if he is standing on tip-toe - but he's not.

How did that happen? The last ten years have flown past. Ten years ago he was still at nursery and getting ready to start school and now he is getting ready to start his 'exam year' in August.

The good thing is - I can always borrow his socks in an emergency!
