The Golden Hour

Maybe it doesn't last as long as an hour, or maybe it lasts two, I wouldn't know as I've never had a chance to sit and watch but however long it is, I think the way the sun glistens gold on the sea as it's beginning to set, is beautiful. Especially on a day like today when the wind is gently rippling the water so that it glitters in patches instead of all over like a sheet.

Some day I hope that, instead of rushing back for my evening shift at work, I'll have the time to just sit and watch as the light changes and the sun sets. If I ever do, I'll make sure I have my camera with me.
