Godrevy fron the Lifeboat

I was lucky enough to go out on an RNLI training exercise this afternoon around St Ives bay up to Hells mouth.

This does not really show the state of the sea which was seriously lumpy. Unfortunately whenever there was a good chance to show this, I had the camera in a waterproof pocket and both hands hanging on to something solid.

I have always had great respect for the crew who go out in far worse than this but now that respect is ten fold.
