Getting to know you!

Today was one of those memorable days - for all the right reasons!

Our seniors go on an annual "Leadership Camp" for a day which is an opportunity for us to get them all together, get them hooked into what it means to be a senior in school and get them to interact more widely across the year group with others they may not usually have much to do with.

We started with some fun and games designed to break down some of those shyness barriers. In this one, everyone (all 180 of them!) had a balloon. They then all stood in a large circle with the balloon placed between them and the person in front. The instruction was simple - slowly move towards the centre until your balloon gets squashed and bursts then drop out! Simple.....hilarious.....and great fun :)

Yup - it was a good day and I'm sure it's going to be a great year with them.
