The wreck and the Wendy Ann 2.

A glorious day again, and I've had the chance to get out with my camera! Makes a change from being stuck indoors, which I have done a lot lately.

I was heading to the West Beach at Littlehampton, which is separated from the East Beach by the River Arun; and as I was driving along, noticed this wreck of a boat moored alongside the 'Wendy Ann 2'. As I stood there taking photographs, a local fisherman told me that the wreck had been there at least 20 years, although he didn't know what had happened to it.

I had to smile at the fact that it's still tied up even though it is clearly wedged on the river bed, and going nowhere.
