Sign of Spring

Today was really sunny and warm - no jacket or coat needed! - and walking through the fields this is what I found! The Primrose!

Primroses were once used in the concoction of love potions and in the Middle Ages they were used to heal gout and rheumatism.

I am sorry I have not been commenting on photographs but just felt like a break from taking blips every day! Thank you everyone for your past kind comments.

All three cows and their calves continue to do well and we shall shortly be weaning a few of the older ones off their mothers (they are six months old). This means the cows will be noisy for a couple of days and nights!
