Wrong Again

Yesterday evening we were told it would be (reasonably) warm and sunny.
Today it is cold and foggy and suddenly that is what is being predicted.

Why is it that our weather forcasters can get it so wrong so often?

The only sunny periods I have seen today are those brought on by the Cygnet.
