Today...

Been out to a friend's house this morning, Ben and her little boy Sammy played together all morning and Ben made himself totally at home! Fed the rabbits with some celery (Ben said, "here rabbit, eat this one!" gently holding the celery out for one), played in the garden, played with playdoh, played the piano and the (tiny toy half strung) guitar and had a whale of a time.

I had a lovely time too getting to know my friend a bit better! We talked and drank tea and coffee and prayed together, swapped recipes and websites and swimming lesson info and pictures. Good times :)

She was the first person I told about the website going live last night. Steve and I celebrated with a cup of tea and a bowl of cereal! (Well I did anyway, Steve doesn't drink tea and he wasn't hungry....) (PS this isn't an attempt to generate any business!!!) And then we collapsed into bed ;)

I guess I've been procrastinating. Being overly picky about what pictures to include. Being overly picky about prices and things. Generally trying to put off the launch. Same with the email I sent my boss last night, the one that went "I'm leaving but at the same time putting my hourly design rates up".... that's been sitting in my drafts box for over 2 weeks.

Having a lovely afternoon so far. Came home, and Ben has spent a good portion of the afternoon in the garden, racing up and down on his trike, leaning it against the garden shed like Ste and I do with our bikes just before we put them away in the bike shed (which Ben did over and over).

And he's finally remembered how to climb the climbing frame! Hurrah for independence!!

And Steve came home early and found an email that I'd lost, told me he's got my first commission (already!! eeeek!!!) (only went live last night!!!!!!) and found a couple of broken links on the website which are now fixed.... And now we're going to celebrate properly by having a cheeky chinese takeaway and a bottle of wine (well I am anyway).

Ahhhhh.
