Our village shop

Some of you may remember that we have a wonderful community shop in Humshaugh. It is staffed by volunteers. I popped down there this morning, mainly to see my friend L. Here she is, standing in front of the display of greetings cards. In particular, you can see the watercolour cards she painted herself. We have a few things in the shop that are produced by local people.

I stayed for quite a long chat, during which time we put the Health Service and Care Homes to rights! The village shop is such an essential part of the life of our village.
