A flower for a dull day

Inspired by a new photo-book I decided that I'd try a high key image of this cyclamen flower on the light box. Photography has been less of a priority lately as I've had lots of other things to focus on. Today was no exception as I had to write a short article for our journal this morning (publication deadline tomorrow) and then I had problems with e-mails on my work computer (it's still not working).

So I've not been to the studio today but have spent time using the computer to try out compositional arrangements for my next print - so some creative work still ongoing.

A very grey day, I missed the best opportunity for photographing the village in mist first thing this morning. Later it just felt damp and gloomy.
