Partington Theatre Glossop

Glossop is one of those places that doesn't get much of a mention. Maybe it's because it's a border town who knows.
Vivienne Westwood was born here and Bez and Shawn Ryder lived here for a while when they were down on their luck.
I ended up stuck here today for an hour waiting for a bus and it came as a pleasant surprise, lots of independent shops, great looking old pubs, and coffee bars galore.
This is a modern statue of Hamlet outside the Partington theatre.
So a bit of culture as well.
