The Church of Our Most Holy Redeemer, Clerkenwell
I saw the outside of this church in Exmouth Market and it struck me that it wouldn't be out of place in Tuscany.
Inside I was taken by the plain yellow walls and green ceiling. They were of a particular shade that reminded me of my infant school classroom, pale and peeling.
I did not miss the irony, that had the church been in Italy both walls and ceiling would be covered in frescoes and paintings.
Lovely day today, good weather.
Technical point: I pushed the raw file by two stops before saving it down to bring out the detail. The result looks like a mezzotint.
