Springtime for Lords and Ladies

One of the earliest signs of spring in 'my wood' are the leaves of Lords and Ladies or Cuckoo Pint or Jack-in-the-pulpit and various other names with a sexual connotation. Some of the plants have black spots on the leaves but I couldn't find any of them today.
