Mission launch

We were in Ghana for two big events with our friends and mission partners. George Kpikpi leads a new mission called Herald Commission - Ghanaians going to communities in Ghana and Togo - and now they have a partner in Benin - addressing spiritual, social and personal needs in the poorest communities.
Today was the formal launch of Herald Commission - this is one of their partners from Volta Region in the east of Ghana, wearing a smock which is very popular in parts of the country, especially the north. The north of Ghana in particular is very hot, and these smocks are quite heavy and made of wool - but surprisingly comfortable and cool to wear.
