Grasshopper

This spectacular grasshopper was on our doorstep at the training centre for the disabled where we stay in Offinso (in Ashanti Region near Ghana's second city, Kumasi). The centre trains disabled young people in skills such as tailoring, dressmaking, shoemaking, batik and tie-dye, agriculture - so that people find self-respect and can earn their own living rather than begging.
