The wind on the moon

Has anyone ever read the book 'the wind on the moon' (het waait op de maan) by Eric Linklater?

When Major Palfrey goes off to war, he warns his daughters Dinah and Dorinda (Ditta en Dorien) that a wind is blowing on the Moon: if the girls misbehave, the cold wind will blow straight into their hearts. Which in the book of course results in the girls getting into a lot of trouble.

I think this is such a moon.. must make sure not to misbehave.
