Flowers

I've had to grab a quick blip of what was to hand today as I'm running out of time to get something whist there is still some light. These are from the bunch of flowers I sent to my wife for valentines day, and so are now a little past their best!

After catching up on some sleep last night(and feeling so much better for it!), I have spent the day indulging in my other passion.....cooking!

I currently have slow roast lamb shanks on the go for dinner tonight and some twice cooked pork belly is going through it's first cooking before it is pressed in the fridge overnight tonight and then cooked for a second time tomorrow afternoon and served with bramley apple mash, and I'm also prepping stuff to put in a batch of jailhouse chilli which I'll set off first thing tomorrow morning and then freeze into batches for quick dinners over the next few weeks.
