She's very close and unapproachable at the same time, my oldest. I'm very glad she volunteered to help me with my portrait trials. It was hard to choose between color and b&w... For the first time I didn't take my camera out with me. We had a nice light inside as well, though. Another gorgeous cold and sunny day, and I had a walk in the woods to celebrate the bright day.

I'm also thrilled because my friend on the other side of the world (well, Northern Hemisphere at least) just blipped her first entry. Loved her photo as I've been standing at the same spot watching down numerous times. Missing it all a lot. This country is such a pancake :) *sigh*
