The joys of Scottish Winter Climbing
Today I was holding Greg's ropes whilst he was trying to get a ground up ascent of The Hurting; one of the hardest mixed climbs in the world. He managed to tick the route despite the heavy hoar frost and strong winds in a very impressive ascent, a pleasure and privilidge to watch. Unfortunately no decent shots given the conditions so I snapped this little number outside the much thought about (during the day) Aviemore chip shop!
There is something quite rewarding about getting back to the car after a day getting spindrift blasted and frozen into a stiff consistency, not sure it quite beats Norway though!
