Puddle Jumping

The day started off brilliantly with my sons football training being cancelled due to the rain which meant that instead of standing on the side of a hill at 9.30am we were still in our pyjamas eating toast!

Popped up to Barns Green after lunch to see my Mother who was staying up there in her caravan and went for a lovely walk around Sumners Ponds, luckily I had popped Kirsten in her waterproofs as there were puddles everywhere and seeing as they were there it seemed rude to not let her jump in them!

After about the fourth puddle we discovered that her left welly leaks but it didn't seem to put her off at all! It just meant that for the drive home we had to take off her welly socks and tights and put my welly liners on her for warmth! (Que the comedy penguin walking!)

Managed to get a couple of nice shots of squirrels and cows, a few dodgy shots of a heron and a few very over exposed shots of Kirsten in a digger bucket (not attached to the digger I hasten to add!) In the end I have settled for this one - kind of sums up the day and I liked the reflection!
