Arctic-Mummy goes back to school

Back Blip:

Had the most brilliant day at Abbotts Ann Primary School! Sam Ottewell, an inspirational teacher at the school, organised a North Pole Day!

The children had the most amazing day, dressing up in fancy dress. We had everything from polar bears & explorers, to lost penguins, elves, Caribou, igloos, and ice-bergs!

The children then had a go at various Arctic activities, putting up tents, decorating arctic biscuits, planning arctic food, Arctic collages ......

We had an arctic lunch with Polar bear biscuits & ice cream, which we walked off with a sponsored walk in the afternoon, raising funds for The Jamie G Sporting Trust.

BBC South Today and the local papers came. It was a non stop full on day!
