Scottish Berries

OK, they're not berries, but they are CALLED Scottish Berries and are very luxury chocolates made by Brodies and they came as part of our Christmas present from my stepmum that I blipped the other day!

Today was a triple celebration (hence eating the posh chocolates):

1. Belated Valentine's day, now that the Wonderspouse is well enough to enjoy food again!

2. Belated celebration for my new job, now that the Wonderspouse is well enough to enjoy food again!

3. On the day celebration of exactly 9 years since we moved into our house! Extraordinary that it's been that long - the longest either of us has lived anywhere since childhood!

Other than that, I've been doing battle with internet sites, e-mail addresses, smtps, security, jobs lists, and so on. If everyone in the world was lovely and trustworthy and didn't send spam, or cyber hack, or cyber bully etc. then 99% of what I've been up to in the last couple of days would be irrelevant!

Oh, and we got through several episodes of Carl Sagan's Cosmos this morning and the whole of Verdi's Othello this afternoon!

Can't be bad!

Also, dear lovely blip followers, another couple of things:

1. Do check out my good friend p8mty, who has blipped for the first time today!

2. Watch out for a name change here soon. The days of ViolaMaths are numbered. This journal will remain in place, but some editing of past entries will occur, and there will be a new name! Maybe even tomorrow for the name!
