The light is on but nobody is home

Hello, welcome to my first blog!

I have always been interested in writing from a young age. Apparently my Monday morning news jotter was always very interesting. I even remember changing the story of Jack and the Beanstalk over several weeks, how kind of my infant teacher to let me deviate from the mundane events of the weekend!

I expect a I will give away a little bit more of myself post by post, but I do not intend to make this too public. As my blog title suggests, I like my privacy.

This first blog was inspired by that horrible feeling there may be somebody else in the house. I heard a creek and awoke to find a light on... Initially this always scares me, as I have something of an overactive imagination, however, following some investigation I found out my roommate had come home earlier than expected.
