San Sebastian to Valladolid

Up in time for breakfast at 8:30. Man who makes breakfast wasn't there. Eventually got breakfast at 9:30. The coffee was cold and the bloke serving must have been related to the barman. Kate complained and was offered another cup of luke-warm coffee. Crap hostel.
Another slow hitching day. Got a lift to Durango where we had lunch. Walked to the toll station on the Autopista and soon got a lift while Kate was taking my photo. Dropped off at Bilbao so we could head south on motorway. We walked for miles again. After two hours we decided to take train from Arrigorriaga to Valladolid. Had evening meal at LLodio where we caught connection to Valladolid. Arrived in Valladolid at 4:30am. Kipped on waiting room floor behind ticket office until awoken by cops at 7:30.
