Balsham Beef

We have a great local butcher, proper, traditional, part of the community and the sort of place so sadly missing from many towns and villages.
I've been meaning to blip them for ages but I either forget my camera or, like yesterday they are packing up when I realise that being a traditional sort of place they actually shut at 1 on Saturdays.
This rib of beef came from their farm which is between our villages and means that the meat we will eat today was reared within 3 miles of the table we will eat it on, I guess in these times of food miles there is something good about that. We have friends over for lunch today so an early blip from me in an effort to appear slightly organised (and also because I doubt I'll be able to type later so apologies for any silly comments later ).

Right, we have work to do....
