No, actually this is one of the 'sculptures' made from found objects around the harbour and placed at the division of the new cut (river by-pass) and the lock entry.

P.S. forgot to say this is the Bristol Suspension Bridge as designed by Brunel but built after his death. The River Avon flows into the Severn/Bristol Channel about 5 miles further on.
