Up up and away

We were very kindly put up (with!) last night, after the birthday celebrations of a dear friend.

Upon opening their curtains this squirrel was sitting in front of the window, classic squirrel pose, teasing 'go on then, blip me if you think you can'.
I reached for the camera, in a not too organized fashion admittedly, and he was away up the tree.

We were polite guests; I didn't mention my compulsion to wield a camera.
And I don't think our hosts noticed the occasional whimper and twitch, as I saw unfamiliar sights and interesting birds through their windows.

Hence no photo opportunities apart from this early one. And hey! I have never blipped a squirrel before (on the strength of this picture, I might say I still haven't!).
