Parsnip perfection

My plan when I first started blip-ing was to focus on a year in my garden.

I still want to do that but lately I have barely seen it in daylight so it's been a bit tricky!

Today, though, we got stuck in and started getting things cleared ready for this year's fun (by fun I mean hard work, of course).

The last of the parsnips came up and I was a bit shocked to find this perfect specimen - as all the others have looked more like mandrakes from the Harry Potter films.

Hmmm, sticky roast parsnips for tea and parsnip soup later in the week.
