i have looked forward to today all week. after a great new year celebration (and lots of daylight), this week has meant a return to the winter darkness. a ride to work in the dark and a ride home in the dark. with 10.5 hours inbetween of strip lighting and a computer screen.
i need to be outside.
today, it rained. all day.
i did go outside today but only to the shop.

up....
at the shop i bought peppers, tomatoes, mushrooms, chorizo, chillis, garlic and they have been baked with pasta for a satisfying, comfort-food stodgefest.
i also bought ethiopian yirgacheffe coffee that was great.

my blip was taken from where i have been sat for most of the rest of the day.
fat freddys drop has now become the happy mondays (thanks croz) and the coffee has become jennings cumberland ale - later it will become bruichladdich.

tomorrow i am going for a very long and very slow bike ride with dan.
