Secret London

Enjoyed a lovely girlie weekend with friends & today we had a wee spending spree around Greenwich Market :0) & lunch at Cafe Rouge before heading back to the East End of London to visit Dennis Severs' House.

Thankfully we got in to have a look as we were cutting it fine & I was really glad we did. The smells and atmosphere were really affecting. I felt the strong need to return to one room in which I could have stayed for ages and to quickly leave another as it had such an awful vibe! In fact I'd like to revisit the whole experience, hopefully when it is less busy.

We then had a quick drink in The Ten Bells which is a pub dating back to the Ripper days in the 1880's & where two of his victims used to frequent in their day!

Exhausted & back home to a luxurious bath & relax. A lovely weekend :0)
