And It Came To Pass......

I got a phone call this morning from my model saying to collect her in half an hour .... she had a free hour and the weather was suitable.

The plan today was to take some glamour style shots using her and my car for a camera club competition.

The real challenge is that I have to use a disposable camera which the club has supplied and will have developed with the images put on disc. The pictures will then be put on a web site and I will have to chose 3 to go forward to be judged. This means that there is no oppertunity to manipulate the pictures in any way so everyone is on a level footing.

So I had to rush out and wash the car and get everything together in the space of a few minutes.

I wanted to add a little something extra by using studio flash in the shots as well.
Not easy when you don't know the aperture or shutter speed of the camera.

However, when we got to the location - away from the buildings of the town, there was a howling wind and it was freezing.
Thw wind meant that we could not get the flash to stay upright - so that idea went out the window.
Also because it was so cold we didn't do half of what we wanted.

Fingers crossed something turns out.

I suspect my next idea will be just as hard to do .............. more of that later
