Balancing Act.

This is Neo's latest trick, balancing around on the stools by the kitchen counter.

The heatwave seems to have returned, for the last couple of days it's been around 31C that's about 88F. A bit warm, it is.

Alexandra and I went to the shops, we weren't going to, but we did, didn't buy much, Alexandra bought a couple of books, and were saddened to see one of our favourite bookshops, Dymocks is closing down. With the news that Borders and Angus & Robertson might be doing the same, it soesn't leave us with many bookshops at all.

Our shopping centres seem to be full of mobile phone shops, optical stores, hairdressers, shoe shops, food shops and not much else. they are getting very boring.

On the way home we stopped off at a lovely garden centre, but it was really too hot to wander around looking for plants, so we bought a couple of garden ornaments, and went home for a very welcome cold drink.

Chicken salad and frech bread are the go for dinner, definitely no cooking tonight!
