First Spring Eggs 2011
The chickens know that spring is here.
They lay eggs according to the amount of daylight they are exposed to. The more hours, the more eggs.
After a cold dark winter when they had stopped laying altogether, things have suddenly changed. As you can see, we have white, buff and blue-green eggs now, two or three a day.
We passed the tipping point, and there's no stopping us now!
The green time is truly upon us.
PS~ Supposedly we are having snow again tomorrow, but that will be just a momentary aberration. You'll see! xo~G
