1761 Tannery
Beautiful day and we stopped by the Bethlehem Moravian Historic Industrial area. This is the tannery building - built in 1761. The original 1761 'ground level' is about 6 feet lower than you currently see. This is due to years of flooding silt being deposited. Even today - looking inside you could see the several feet of water.
Today would of been my mother's birthday. I was going photograph some momentos - and decided against it. It is a part of the circle of life - we all have one mom - so glad I had the one God blessed me with.
