Ancient Roof.
I do like these old weathered pantile roofs.
On checking the weather forecast, things seemed to be better to the east so we loaded up the dogs and went across the river to Culross again. While still quite cool, it was dry so we had a good old wander over ancient cobbles and down quaint alleyways. The old 17th century properties are well preserved and show some quirky design features. The warm terracotta of the tiles should look almost Mediterranean but the wet green moss and the steep roof lines confirm a more northern site.
