Dunnock

Today's the day .......................... for a little brown job

Blipping awful day today here which went from drizzly to full blown wet rain. No colour anywhere and even the garden birds seemed to have disappeared. This was a shame because I treated myself to a new nyjer seed feeder today and I hung it up in the hope that news would circulate on the siskin/goldfinch grapevine and they would appear as if by magic.

The only nice thing that happened was that gladders came to lunch. He's a bit of an expert - well on lots of things really. If you want to know about the amazing sex life of the little dunnock above (the only bird that did come near the feeders today) check this page in his journal ............
