terrific tripod

Tonight I used my tripod. The tripod that has been sitting there for over a year, the one with the bit missing that screws into your camera, the bit I replaced finally in November, that I couldn't figure out how to attach, the tripod whose original 'bit' I then re-found last night and did manage to attach back on, yes that tripod!

Wow, I had no idea how shaky I was - no blurring, how novel.

Just as well really as it was quite the miserable Monday with no light, a long day at work and an ill child who even with all the manipulating in the world was not going to come off good in a blip this evening.

Instead here is a snap of my shutters (please contain your excitement) and while it is grainy as after all there was still no light at least I think it is kinda on the sharp side.

The indoor, winter evening blip possibilities are now endless!!!
