F&H were introduced to Clare's flat today. All a bit stressful as H starting to show outward signs of cabin fever - I'm sure there must be something in the rules of Scrabble that bans the use of random, strange noises as a technique to thwart one's opponents' attempts to gain triple word scores!

Another utterly drab day thwarted plans to head to Marsden for a walk. It seemed fitting that I was able to place the word "dank" during the Scrabble game! :-/ We need colour in our lives - this seemingly endless, oppressive weather can not continue for much longer, surely!

In the pic for today's blip, a bowl of fruit and a bag of choc and nut creations, courtesy of Patisserie Chantilly and my cousin. I feel shoddy today - run-down and indescribably tired - so I think, for once, the fruit is going to win and the delicious Belgian chocs can stay in their bag until the morrow. :-)
